NYE National Coordinator

‘Segun Bolaji is the Managing Director of S. ADISS AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING LIMITED, a foremost company that has been into existence since 1979 which is into the fabrication of quality  agro-processing equipment which include feed- mill of various capacities, Cassava processing equipment, Palm kernel/Palm oil processing equipment, Chicken processing machines, Yam/Plantain flour processing machines, Maize shellers, Soybean threshers etc. The company has received various local and international awards which include: African International Award from far away, Paris, France; Nigerian National Quality Award from UNIDO and recently, The Made in Nigeria Award (Most Outstanding in Agricultural Equipment Fabrication just to mention a few.

He is also the Chairman/Managing Director of SAM-BRONTO INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, a company into production and processing of cassava products for export.

He is currently the secretary of the Oyo State Chapter of the Agricultural Machineries and Equipment’s Fabricator Association of Nigeria (AMEFAN) and he is the National Financial Secretary of the same association.

He is a member of council and management of Ibadan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) and was recently appointed as the Deputy Treasurer, one of the five Principal Officers of the same Chamber.

He was the former Oyo State Coordinator and also the South-West Coordinator of NACCIMA Youth Entrepreneurs; he is the present National Coordinator of the same group.

He owns a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious University of Ibadan and also holds a Master in Engineering Management (MEM) in Project Management from Industrial/Production Engineering from the same University.

He has undergone various ISO trainings sponsored by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) which include certificates in ISO 9000:2005 / ISO 9001:2008, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems- Lead Auditors, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System- Lead Auditor Course, ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System- Lead Auditor Course and Training Course on Good Governance for Organized Private Sector.

He was one of the 10 Young Entrepreneurs selected by UNIDO in 2017 to represent Nigeria at the World Entrepreneurship Forum (WEF) in Bahrain. The event was fully sponsored by the Government of Bahrain.

He is also a recipient of the United Nation Award for Distinguished Leadership/Role Model Award in Recognition of his contribution to Youth Development in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole; this was in commemoration of the International Youth Day in 2019.

He was one of the Nigerian delegates that were recently sponsored by UNDP to understudy GTI (Guided Trade Initiatives) under AfCFTA (African Continental Free Trade Area) in Ghana.

He is well travelled and has represented his company and the Chambers of Commerce on conferences in the following countries: India, UK, Germany, China, United States, Bahrain, Turkey, Rwanda and Ghana.

He is a Christian, happily married and blessed with two kids. His hobbies include playing football, travelling and meeting people.
